What to keep
Your DNPE registration — the notice of intent filed with the Division of Non-Public Education (before you begin)
Annual standardized test results(a nationally standardized test each year; results kept available for state inspection for one year, no minimum score)
An attendance record covering nine calendar months of instruction
Your child's immunization records(maintained on file)
The instructing parent's high school diploma or GED
A portfolio of work samples(organizational — not required, but the simplest way to document the year)
