What to keep
A copy of the notice of intent filed with your home-district principal (re-file only when changing school zones or levels)
Your annual progress report — test scores, a certified-teacher evaluation, or a parent-prepared evaluation (you pick the method)
A description of progress in each subject area (required for the parent-prepared evaluation)
Work samples plus samples of tests, assignments, or grades if given
Standardized test results for grades 3, 5, 8, and 10
